Make Your Voice Heard June 11 at “The Launch”
| PCPW Co-chairs | Uncategorized
An important community event is taking place next Wednesday evening (details below).
Your strong voice is vitally needed to make sure we are not drowned out by corporate interests!
Our city is beginning the process of updating our Comprehensive Plan, a major land-use document that will shape development decisions for the next decade.
We, Project Community Park Worthington (PCPW), remain committed to the core principle that the voice of the residents of Worthington needs to be listened to and incorporated into our City’s planning and policies. We, the residents, are and need to be at the center of our government’s purposes and actions.
Ten years ago, in November of 2015, the voters of Worthington passed the Keep Worthington Beautiful (Issue 38) charter amendment, which formalized the principle that the residents have the right to be heard and listened to regarding major land use decisions. Your strong voice at the community meeting will help to ensure we keep our right to be listened to and to help create a productive, creative, and sensible outcome related to our community’s future plans.
